Day 01 :

Drive/Fly from Kathmandu to Maratika (Halesi Mahadev) Altitude (Kathmandu): 1,400 meters Altitude (Maratika): 1,735 meters

Early morning breakfast at the hotel.
By Drive: Approx. 8-9 hours drive to Maratika, covering a distance of about 230 kilometers (143 miles) through picturesque landscapes and traditional villages.
Evening free for relaxation and preparation for the visit to the cave.
Accommodation: Guesthouse near Maratika Cave.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 02 :

Explore Maratika Cave (Halesi Mahadev)

Breakfast at the guesthouse.
Visit Maratika Cave, where Guru Padmasambhava and Mandarava are believed to have attained immortality.
Participate in meditation and prayer sessions within the cave.
Explore other nearby caves and sacred sites, including the Halesi Mahadev Temple, which is also significant to Hindus.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Evening visit to the local monastery to interact with monks and learn more about the Buddhist practices and rituals associated with the cave.

Day 03 :

Visit Mandarava Cave and and Naga Place Exploration

Breakfast at the guesthouse.
Morning visit to Mandarava Cave, another significant site where Guru Padmasambhava and Mandarava meditated.
Participate in meditation and learn about the historical and spiritual importance of the cave.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon visit to Naga Place, a sacred site associated with serpent deities in Buddhist and Hindu traditions.
Return to the guesthouse for relaxation and reflection.
Dinner at the guesthouse.

Day 04 :

Return to Kathmandu
