Itinerary

After breakfast, drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the Langtang Tamang Heritage Trek. Enjoy scenic views of terraced fields, hills, and rivers along the way.

Begin your trek by ascending to Gatlang, a traditional Tamang village with stone houses and terraced fields. Explore the village and interact with the friendly locals.

Trek to Tatopani, famous for its natural hot springs. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot springs and take in the surrounding mountain views.

Continue trekking to Thuman, another picturesque Tamang village known for its unique cultural practices and hospitality. Visit the local monastery and interact with the villagers.

Trek to Briddim, a traditional Tamang village nestled in the foothills of the Langtang Himalayas. Explore the village and learn about Tamang culture and lifestyle.

Descend to Lama Hotel, passing through dense forests of rhododendron and oak. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and wildlife sightings along the trail.

Trek to Langtang Village, a Tamang settlement surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Explore the village and visit the local cheese factory.

Continue trekking to Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery and the final destination of your trek. Enjoy stunning views of the Langtang range along the way.

Take a rest day in Kyanjin Gompa to acclimatize to the high altitude. Explore the nearby glaciers or hike to Tserko Ri for panoramic views of the Langtang Himalayas.

Descend back to Lama Hotel, retracing your steps through the Langtang Valley. Enjoy the downhill trek and reflect on your journey through the Tamang heartland.

Continue trekking down to Syabrubesi, where you'll conclude your trek. Celebrate your accomplishments with your trekking team and enjoy a farewell dinner.

Drive back to Kathmandu, where you'll have the rest of the day free for shopping, sightseeing, or relaxing before your departure.
