Day 1 :

Kathmandu (1300) -Gyirong /Kerung Border(2700m) (145 Km) 06 - 07 hours

Depart from Kathmandu early in the morning and drive towards the Gyirong / Kerung Border, enjoying scenic views along the way.
Arrive at the border town of Gyirong / Kerung, completing necessary immigration and customs formalities.
Check into your accommodation and rest to acclimatize to the higher altitude.

Day 2 :

Kerung - Tingri (4300m) Distance: 240 kilometers

After breakfast, depart from Gyirong and ascend to higher altitudes as you head towards Tingri.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Tibetan plateau and towering Himalayan peaks along the way.
Arrive in Tingri in the afternoon and check into your accommodation.
Spend the rest of the day acclimatizing to the altitude and relaxing amidst the stunning mountain scenery.

Day 3 :

Tingri to Shigatse Altitude: (3,840 meters) Distance: 250 kilometers

Depart from Tingri after breakfast and continue your journey towards Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet.
Traverse through rugged landscapes and picturesque Tibetan towns, soaking in the serene beauty of the region.

Shigatse to Gyantse Gyantse (3950m) – approximately 90 km

Day 5 :

Gyantse to Tsedang Depart from Gyantse after breakfast Drive to Tsedang (3100m) – approximately 340 km

Depart from Gyantse in the morning and head towards Yamdrok Lake, one of the most stunning lakes in Tibet.
En route, stop at the Karola Glacier to marvel at the majestic beauty of this natural wonder.

Day 6 :

Tsedang to Samye Monastery 50 km , then to Lhasag Lhasa 50 kilometers.

After breakfast drive to Samye Monastery, also known as Samye Gompa, is the first Buddhist monastery established in Tibet.
It holds great historical and religious significance as it represents the birth of Tibetan Buddhism and the union of Indian and Tibetan Buddhist traditions.
The monastery was founded in the 8th century by the Tibetan king Trisong Detsen and the Indian Buddhist master Guru Padmasambhava (also known as Guru Rinpoche).
Samye Monastery is renowned for its unique architectural style, with a central temple representing Mount Meru, the sacred mountain in Buddhist cosmology, surrounded by four smaller temples symbolizing the continents. after exploration in Samya drive to Lhasa and overnight in Hotel.

Lhasa Sightseeing explore Norbulingka Palace,Sera and Drepung Monastery

Visit Norbulingka Palace, the "Treasure Park" in Tibetan, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in the 18th century by the 7th Dalai Lama, Kelzang Gyatso, and served as the summer residence of the Dalai Lamas.
Sera Monastery is one of the three great Gelug university monasteries in Tibet, along with Ganden Monastery and Drepung Monastery.
Founded in 1419 by Jamchen Chojey, a disciple of Je Tsongkhapa, Sera Monastery is renowned for its debate courtyard, where monks engage in lively philosophical debates.

Day trip Lhasa to Tsurphu Monastery 70 kilometers

Tsurphu Monastery is one of the most important monasteries in Tibetan Buddhism and serves as the traditional seat of the Karmapa, the head of the Karma Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism.
It was founded in 1189 by the first Karmapa, Düsum Khyenpa, who was a disciple of Gampopa, the founder of the Kagyu school.
Over the centuries, Tsurphu Monastery has been a center for Buddhist teaching, meditation, and retreat.

Day 10 :

Flight from Lhasa to Kathmandu Altitude: Kathmandu approx 1.5 hours.
