To adjust to the altitude, you'll spend an extra day in Namche. You can explore the local markets, visit the Everest View Hotel, or take a short hike to Khumjung and Khunde villages.

Leaving Namche, the trail takes you to Thame, a tranquil village with a beautiful monastery. You'll get to experience the Sherpa culture and enjoy spectacular mountain views along the way.

The trek continues through lush valleys and alongside glacial rivers to reach Lungden, a small village surrounded by snowy peaks.

Today is a challenging day as you cross the Renjo La Pass, offering panoramic views of Everest, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The descent leads to Gokyo, situated by the pristine Gokyo Lake.

This is an acclimatization day in Gokyo. You can hike up to Gokyo Ri (5,360m) for stunning sunrise views over Everest and other Himalayan giants. Later, you can explore the Gokyo Valley and its turquoise lakes.

You'll retrace your steps back towards Thagnak, a small settlement on the way to Cho La Pass.

Today, you'll cross the challenging Cho La Pass, which requires careful navigation. The trail then descends to Dzongla, offering fantastic views of Ama Dablam.

A shorter trekking day, heading towards Lobuche, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp.

The trail leads to Gorak Shep and continues to Everest Base Camp, where mountaineers prepare to climb the world's highest peak. After exploring the base camp, you'll return to Gorak Shep for the night.

Today is another challenging day as you cross Kongma La Pass, the highest of the three passes. The trail descends to Chhukung, a small village nestled amidst beautiful landscapes.

Descending further, the trail leads to Pangboche, a village with a historic monastery and stunning mountain vistas.
