Itinerary

Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, a small village in the Langtang region. The journey offers beautiful landscapes and rural scenery. Overnight in Syabrubesi.

Begin the trek by walking through lush forests and alongside the Langtang Khola. Pass through small settlements and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Continue the trek through dense forests and meadows. Catch glimpses of the Langtang Lirung (7,227m) and other snow-capped peaks. Reach Langtang Village, a traditional Tibetan village. Overnight in Langtang Village.

Trek to Kyanjin Gompa, a significant Buddhist monastery. The trail offers views of glacial moraines and rugged landscapes. Explore the area and visit the monastery. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Spend the day acclimatizing to the higher altitude. Optionally, hike to Kyanjin Ri (4,773m) or Tserko Ri (4,984m) for stunning panoramic views. Visit the local cheese factory or interact with the locals. Overnight in Kyanjin Gompa.

Begin the descent back to Lama Hotel. Enjoy the contrasting views of the landscape. Overnight in Lama Hotel.

Trek to Thulo Syabru, a beautiful village with amazing views of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal. Experience the local culture and lifestyle. Overnight in Thulo Syabru.

Continue trekking through dense forests and rhododendron groves. Reach Shin Gompa, also known as Chandan Bari, where a cheese factory is located. Overnight in Shin Gompa.

Descend to Dhunche, the headquarters of Rasuwa district. Enjoy the final walk of the trek and take in the beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

After breakfast drive from Dunche to Kathmandu is approximately 70 kilometers (about 43 miles) overnight in Kathmandu.
