Nar Phu Valley with Kang La Pass

11 Days

Overview

The Nar and Phu valleys were off-limits to hikers until late 2002, and they have remained mostly unaffected by outside influences. You’ll rapidly veer off the well-traveled paths and enter the isolated regions of Nar & Phu as you leave Besisahar, the typical beginning site of the Annapurna Circuit.

This amazing trek will allow you to witness the breathtaking scenery and unexplored cultures of the Nar and Phu valleys. Few people have had the opportunity to explore the unique Tibetan cultures found in these hidden gems, which include high peaks, glaciers, isolated villages, winding gorges, verdant forests, and unique customs.

The walk reaches its peak as you approach the lofty Kang La Pass, which provides views that are unmatched, and then descend to Ngawal, a well-known destination on the Annapurna Circuit. Enjoy the conveniences of modern life amidst breathtaking scenery here.

Your excursion ends with a vehicle return to Besisahar, leaving behind memories of an incredible adventure deep within the Nepalese Himalayas. The scenery gradually changes to lush flora.
