Mount Kailash is a sacred mountain with great spiritual significance. Known as Kang Rinpoche or Gang Rinpoche in Tibetan, it holds a special place in Buddhism such as Home of Khorlo Demchok: In Buddhist mythology, Mount Kailash is believed to be the abode of Demchok (also known as Chakrasamvara or Heruka), a prominent tantric deity. Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Sherpa Home Hotel near Swayambhu Stupa. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed by our team and transferred to our hotel Sherpa Home near Swayambhu Stupa. Take the day to rest, recover from your journey.
During this days we will collect your passport in hand and bring to Chinese embassy for Chinese Visa application.
You will have time to explore around Kathmandu and we will guide you through.
After breakfast, we start our journey towards the Tibet border. The scenic drive takes us to the town of Kyirong, located near the Nepal-Tibet border. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges along the way.
This day is essential for acclimatization as we prepare for the higher altitudes in Tibet. Take short walks around Kyirong and get acquainted
with the local culture and environment. visit important sites.
The drive introduces you to the vast Tibetan plateau and its unique
landscapes.
The drive to Lake Manasarovar is a remarkable experience, offering glimpses of the sacred lake and the majestic Mount Kailash in the distance.

Today is dedicated to exploring the spiritual significance of Lake Manasarovar. Take a dip in the holy waters to cleanse your negative
Karma. After spending time at Lake Manasarovar, we drive to Darchen, the starting point of the Kailash Kora. Take rest and prepare yourself for
the spiritually transformative trek.
Trek / Kailash Kora, the sacred walk around Mount Kailash start from here . where you will offer prayers and receive blessings before setting foot on the trail. The trail offers breathtaking views of Mount Kailash and the surrounding landscapes. The walking distance on this day is approximately 20 kilometers, and the altitude at Dirapuk is around 4,900 meters. Dirapuk is located at the foot of the northern face of Mount Kailash and is known for its stunning views of the mountain.
The most physically demanding day of the Kailash Kora, as you cross the challenging Dolma La Pass, located at an altitude of approximately 5,630
meters. The trek involves steep ascents and descents, and the terrain can be rocky and challenging. However, the views from the pass are awe-inspiring, and the spiritual significance of this part of the journey is profound. After crossing the pass, you descend to Zuthulpuk, which is approximately 22 kilometers from Dirapuk. Zuthulpuk is home to several ancient caves, including the famous Milarepa’s Cave, where the revered Tibetan saint and poet Milarepa is believed to have meditated.
This is the final day of the pilgrimage circuit, and you will feel a sense of accomplishment and spiritual fulfillment. After completing the Kailash
Kora and arriving back in Darchen and taking a rest In Darchen.
Begin the journey back to Saga. The drive covers a considerable distance of approximately 490 kilometers and takes you through diverse and
breathtaking landscapes of the Tibetan plateau. The route passes through the high-altitude Mayum La Pass, which stands at an elevation of
approximately 5,230 meters, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and vast plains.
Our journey takes us back to Kyirong, where you can reflect on the profound experiences and spiritual growth during the pilgrimage.
Today, we crossed the Kyirong border and drive back to Kathmandu, concluding the Kailash tour. Spend the evening in Kathmandu, cherishing
the sacred memories of the journey
